It was a sad day for Android users when (in June 2012) Adobe decided to withdraw official support from one of the most essential apps for enhanced web browsing experience. The Adobe Flash Player app can no longer be downloaded from the Google Play Store. It does not sound good at all that the largest and most popular operating system for mobile phones does not have the official version of Adobe Flash Player.
With Flash Player installed on your Android phone. you can bring the full web to your Android device. You can enjoy videos, apps, flash games directly on our android smartphones or tablets. Adobe Flash Player for Android makes it possible to access rich web content on your phone the same way as you do on your desktop computer.
Though the Flash Player is not available at the Google Play Store, it does not mean that you are forced to be deprived of a richer web browsing experience. You can still download and install the Adobe Flash Player for your Android phone. Please note that the official version of the app is available for phones with Ice Cream Sandwich only but you can install it on devices running Jelly Bean and KitKat too.

How to Install:
Having downloaded the Adobe Flash Player apk file, you will have to install it manually. Here is how you can install the this or any APK file on your Android phone or tablet.
- Download the app from above link and copy it to your phone’s internal or external SD Card memory. You can do it by connecting your device to computer via USB Cable. In case you have downloaded the file using phone browser, you can find the APK inside “Downloads” folder.
- Go to your phone’s Settings> Security and enable the “Unknown Sources” option by checking the box. If you do not ckeck it before installation, you will have to do it when prompted while installing the app.
- Now open the file manager app on your phone. If you do not a file browser app installed on your phone, download one from the Google Play Store. Opening the file manager, find the Flash Player apk file.
- The Flash Player for Android is now installed on your phone. You should now be ready to go. Check this link on your phone to confirm that Flash is up and running.
- To enable Flash content all the time, open your web browser’s settings and select “Always on”, or to enable it selectively on each page, choose “On demand”.
To download the Adobe Flash Player for Android directly on your device, you can download an app called Flash Downloader by Thinkly from the Play Store.
Note (for ICS and JB):
The Chrome browser for Android does not support Adobe Flash Player. Also, since the Flash Player does not officially support Android 4.1 and higher, do not expect very fast loading of Flash objects. To enjoy flash in internet browsing on your Android device, install Dolphin Browser that supports flash.
After installing the app, open Dolphin Browser and enable flash: Click Menu> Settings> Web Content> Flash Player
Enjoy Flash with Puffin Web Browser
To enjoy flash content on your Android smartphone or tablet device, you can use the Puffin Web Browser app from the Play Store. This browser does not require Adobe Flash Player but it still manages to play flash contents on your device. Puffin Web Browser supports Adobe Flash on ICS, JellyBean and Android 4.4+KitKat too.
Viewing Flash Content on Firefox Browser
The latest version of Firefox Browser for Android (v.27 onwards) has brought Flash Player support feature back. The browser now supports Flash Player as a plugin. Here is how you can use Adobe Flash on your Android device:
- Install the latest Firefox Browser from the Play Store:
- Download and install the latest hacked Adobe Flash Player app from above.
- Open Firefox Browser on your device.
- Go to Settings> Display, tap on Plugins and enable it.
- In case you are unable to view flash content on some site, try to enable Request Desktop Site from Firefox Browser menu.
